Dowling is an independent, coeducational, comprehensive college located along the banks of the Connetquot River on Long Island, New York. The college offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree programs and four schools of study: Arts and Sciences, Aviation and Transportation, Business, and Education. Dowling College has a total student population of more than 6,500; 56% are undergraduate students and 44% are graduate students. More than 75% of all students receive significant financial aid or scholarship packages. Above all, at The Personal College(R) small sizes (averaging 17 students) and a dedicated faculty help ensure that all Dowling College students reach their full potential. |

Dowling College offers full- and part-time study leading to the degrees of Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Business Administration in day, evening and weekend class sessions. Programs of study include accounting, aeronautics, airway science, arts, biology, computer information systems, computer science, economics, education, elementary education, English, finance, history, humanities, management, marketing, mathematics, music, music education, natural science, political science, psychology, romance languages, social sciences, sociology-anthropology, special education, speech-dramatic art, transportation, travel and tourism, and visual arts. Students may elect a major in one academic area (a discipline major) or in two or more related areas (an interdisciplinary or divisional major). |
